Great to hear the dude so 'up' just being himself and doing what he does best. Good news about the knee too:)

So, I've been dragging around in a blue funk the last two weeks, feeling miserable and sorry for myself. I listened to this episode this morning, and felt, quite suddenly, as if my soul had been lanced and then refilled with all this glorious, joyous energy.

I can't thank you enough for that. What a fabulous episode.

Love the intro. Sylvain in France. Just awesome. As odd as this may sound, since our visit, friendship has taken on a new meaning. Well, maybe not a new meaning, although I suppose I've thought about friendship more. It really is great having those 'live in the moment' kind of days isn't it? And, not only with friends, but with family as well. And, I don't really know exactly what it is, maybe ones own honesty, recorded, or not recorded, but spoken to those who are close, the music, the parts that all these crazy easy yet, complex as always important parts of our lives, material things, things that mean nothing at all but tickle our fancy as stupid as that saying is, all, and I mean all helps us grow as a human being. Memories. Things we do just because we do them, and how important the things are that we decide to do that just (as you would say it), "God damnit, mean so much!" How much do we know about each other? No, not you and I. I'm talking about me, you, the guy, the girl, the old man, the old, maybe just a bit older woman there on the corner glaring at you thinking, "stop staring at me you fucking bastard freak show with the iRiver." Probably a really nice individual if given the opportunity to just have that amazing conversation. Who the hell is willing to offer up a conversation one on one that opens up a topic of ones thoughts, ones truths? Wonderful. What a great word. Without writing a novel, I am very happy that you introduced me to a variety of different people upon our visit. Honestly, I was a little confused about or maybe even cautious, about how people like that were. And always, even back as a child open to every type of individual within our society, their beliefs, their ways about living to make it a little simpler. No prejudice, even though it crept up on me like the devil telling you it is alright to smoke, or to do things you know you shouldn't. We are all the same. Really, we are. Too many God damn influences. But, what you do....you do it right. You relay a really good message Dude. And I know you are not perfect. And neither am I. But, you talk about talent a lot. You my friend, have talent. Great work. God. Who has an episode with the Beatles playing like this, and spilling their passion like this? Nice.....

- Gary.

Oh, ...and one thing I forgot. Nothing wrong with having a 'living in the moment' with yourself as well huh? Damn. Life is just fucking wicked.

It's funny that you left the beginning with the sound of me walking, the plane, the wind, and saying «un petit mot pour le scarborough dude». At the same time, it's very «real».

Nice episode, not because of me but because of the music and all that stuff related to it that you share. It's surprising how music-related memories are strong.

I think we all have different memories for the same albums, as we listened to it in a different mood and in a different period of time. I was'nt born when Pepper came out, so I discovered the thing in my teen years. What's funny is that it litteraly blew my mind... and the album was already 20 years old!
