"I am surprised... to have any American listeners left... for all the things I've said... about your politicians."

Please don't forget that about half of us (48.3% in 2004 and 52.9% in 2008) were not happy with the U.S. government over the last eight years. Plenty of Americans share your view of our government.

An American (living in Tokyo) still listening after 218 episodes.

We are not all that happy about our politicians in the the great USA. Most of us feel as we have been sold down the river. But... in God we Trust are fighting words!
P.S. Thanks for the kind words...been many years since you said hi

I enjoyed looking at the photograph of your Dad in his ham radio studio. You can tell the time that the photograph was taken: 2:45. And, next to the globe, there is a photograph within a photograph ... looks like a man standing behind a woman with his hand resting on her shoulder. By the way, it was your idea to call me Wizzie and yet you always forget it. Best wishes, man.

Thanks Wizzie. I treasure that photograph. The picture you refer to in the background on the window ledge is one of his parents. His father died before I was born, but I knew well and loved his mother. Notes the handgun collection on the wall - I loved those too! A ship's nameplate, the Dunvegan, a Corvette built for WWll, hangs on the wall - it is now on display in The Royal Canadian Military Institute here in Toronto.

One more detail Wizzie - in front of the photo of my his parents there is a hand drawn comic style picture of him of him sitting just like he is in the photo. I have that card in my own basement now, in the shrine for my parents.
