Okay... first Tom Waits, then King Crimson. Have you been digging through my brain?

Ian Wallace, one of the early drummers in the band started up a jazz trio a few years ago playing Crimso tunes.

May not be for you. I'm not an "all kinds of jazz" guy, but I dug hearing music I knew in this format.

Cheers brother!

Anthony, you occasionally spill the contents of your brain in full public view - like when you brought up King Crimson in your defense of Phish on a recent Dyscultured. My King Crimson days go back to a waterpipe on the West Island of Montreal in the early 70s- along with the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. More for the head trip than their musicianship which is what I think you appreciate.

Thanks for the link. Keep smiling!

P.S. Anthony - I loved the Phish version of I Am the Walrus at the end of Dyscultured #89! And no, in spite of your name, you don't seem at all Italian - not that there's anything wrong with that...

Dude. You hit upon one of my totally most-hated words in the language: "should."

I should, you should, We really should... Gahhhhh.

If you have to say "I should X", doesn't that really mean "I don't want to X but something outside of me is compelling me to do X anyway??

In a previous life, I was a great "should-er." I let other people dictate my agenda. I wouldn't bend over backwards to do something for someone else; I'd stick my head up my ass and turn myself inside out.

I still struggle with that.

Loved the podcast. Honest and heartfelt. :) And you're right about friends and meeting new people. I enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for doing what you do and making the podcasting world better.

I really like the theme of this show. Your emphasis on friendship inspired me to crawl a little more out of my shell during my Freshman year of college and after doing so I was able to experience a wealth of relationships with people who I may have otherwise written off as dissimilar to me. I hope you realize that with each podcast the things you say sometimes go further than you may intended or even realize. You have a very overall positive influence in my life and I am still faithfully listening. Keep 'em coming Ken!!! That's an order!!!

Dude, I had to drop you a line to let you know that I really enjoyed this episode. Great theme; good friends are worth more than their weight in gold.

Once again, the Scarborough Dude hits it out of the park.

Delighted to get so many supportive comments for an episode I almost aborted! Thank you for the shot of confidence.
