Your emphasis on friendship inspired me to crawl a little more out of my shell during my Freshman year of college and after doing so I was able to experience a wealth of relationships with people who I may have otherwise written off as dissimilar to me. I hope you realize that with each podcast the things you say sometimes go further than you may intended or even realize. You have a very overall positive influence in my life and I am still faithfully listening. Keep 'em coming Ken!!! Gahhhhh.

If you have to say "I should X", doesn't that really mean "I don't want to X but something outside of me is compelling me to do X anyway??

In a previous life, I was a great "should-er." I let other people dictate my agenda. I wouldn't bend over backwards to do something for someone else; I'd stick my head up my ass and turn myself inside out.

I still struggle with that.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08405145486006108557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12228331.post-61799883949490771532010-07-11T09:41:48.799-04:002010-07-11T09:41:48.799-04:00P.S. My King Crimson days go back to a waterpipe on the West Island of Montreal in the early 70s- along with the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. More for the head trip than their musicianship which is what I think you appreciate.

Thanks for the link.
